Our first memories of Disney were watching the Wonderful World of Disney on Sunday evenings as a child. In 1972 the Walt Disney World Special that showed the monorail travel through the Contemporary Resort on television, became the dream vacation of every child.
Watching each park open and all the televised parades until finally visiting January 1989. I’ll never forget the feeling of awe when I walked into the Magic Kingdom and again watching Illuminations at Epcot. I visited three more times before getting married. Then in 1999 we went to Walt Disney World, it was the first visit for my husband and our young son. Seeing the wonder in both of their eyes as we entered the Magic Kingdom heightened the magic.
Since then we’ve been to Walt Disney World 20+ times, staying in a variety of onsite resorts. We’ve been on four Disney cruises, three times to the Bahamas and once to the Western Caribbean. We’ve sailed on the Magic, the Wonder and the Dream.
We’ve been to Disneyland and California Adventure Parks three times. We’ve dined in restaurants all over “the world” and at most of the Character meals. We’ve been to Disney at Christmas and have attended special events such as Disney’s Very Merry Christmas Party, Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party, The Pirates and Princesses Party, The Illuminations Dessert Party, Happily Ever After Dessert Party, Villains Sinister Soiree, Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique and the After Hours Events. As proud parents of two young adults who have grown-up with Disney, my husband and I understand how important quality family time is.
Since Disney has provided many magical memories for us, we want to be able to help create that magic for others to enjoy. No detail is too small when creating the perfect vacation. We also book vacations to Universal Theme Parks, Hawaii, Sandals and Beaches, Europe and a variety of cruise lines
