JUST ANNOUNCED – Disney Cruise Line has unveiled itineraries for early 2015! All four Disney Cruise Line ships will sail from Florida ports in the early part of 2015, and every cruise departing from January to April includes a stop at Castaway Cay, a lush tropical island reserved exclusively for Disney Cruise Line guests.
The interactive, color-changing “Glow with the Show” Ears introduced at Disneyland® Resort last summer are now available at the Walt Disney World® Resort. The magical Mickey Ear Hats made their debut at Fantasmic! on Oct. 15 to mark the 15th anniversary of the nighttime spectacular at Disney’s Hollywood Studios® Theme Park.
Also, beginning on October 19, “Glow with the Show” Ears will become part of the “Wishes” fireworks and the “Celebrate the Magic” nighttime projection show at Cinderella Castle in Magic Kingdom® Park. And during the holiday season, you can wear their Ears for special surprises during The Osborne Family Spectacle of Dancing Lights and performances of “Holiday Wishes: Celebrate the Spirit of the Season.”
“Glow with the Show” Ear Hats employ leading edge technology to light up and synchronize with each entertainment experience in amazing and dazzling new ways, making members of the audience an integral part of the show.
Here are some magical travel tips to help you plan your 3-day visit to the Disneyland Resort. There’s so much to see and do from day to night, you’ll need multiple days to enjoy it all.
Walt Disney World will institute a new cancellation policy for all dining reservations. Likely starting on October 31, 2013, the policy will apply to all Disney World table-service restaurants. Failure to cancel within one day of your reservation will result in a $10 per person charge on the credit card used to guarantee your booking.
Palo has always been a world-class dining experience aboard Disney Cruise Line®, and over the past few years we’ve made continual enhancements for our Guests’ enjoyment. In light of these enhancements, combined with increasing costs, effective Thursday, Oct. 3, 2013 on the Disney Dream® and Saturday, Oct. 5, 2013, on Disney Wonder® and Disney Fantasy® the cost of Palo (Brunch and Dinner) will increase from $20/person to $25/person. This new pricing will be in effect on Disney Magic® on Oct. 20, 2013. Guests who may have pre-booked Palo online will be allowed to dine at the previously booked rate.
